I wanted to give to our meeting last Thursday the title of the essay that Seneca has given us Marisa. I believe that reading literature and our tea we strengthen much in the difficult path towards that goal, that is not to be angry, to take the right distance from the small newspapers big trouble, enjoying the "privilege of thinking." It is not easy, but let us try, come on. Always
Marisa returned to the theme of "Ecstasy culinary" (Marie Barbery), introduced last time by Lucia. This is a man who knows he must die and tries to find the taste that struck him most in life, from childhood. Do not miss! The author is the same of "the elegance of the hedgehog."
Rosa has completed its comment on the book of the fall of the Berlin Wall (whose exact title is in previous post), very interesting in some ways unfamiliar to most, that revolved around the event, such as the position of Gorbachev and Reagan.

Cristina has presented us with "The Child of the city ice" Lonnaeus Olle, Swedish crime writer.
He talked about how even exist in the evolved Sweden creeping feelings of prejudice and racism (or at least sense this from the book, given our poor knowledge of Swedish society ..).
Grace, who finally came back with his verve, has updated us on the work of his new home, we're curious to see and admire that already have seen it before. He recently read the beautiful book of Dacia Maraini "The long life Silent Duchess", offering us some books of Oriana Fallaci who in The Courier are raising newsstand.
Lucia, last but not least, has not brought us literary news (on the other hand had a beauty treatment to her already beautiful natural blond hair), but has left us a brochure with a number of titles offered by Mondadori for the month of October and several events cultural.
I'm reading again, very slowly due to lack of ability to concentrate, the splendid war and peace, a novel of love and pain, yearning and big dreams, men and women only.
At the same time I read about Elisabeth George "And deliver us from the Father."
